HomeKnights of ColumbusLouisiana Flood Relief Request

Worthy Chapter Presidents, District Deputies, Grand Knights and Brothers All,

Louisiana was hit again by a major natural disaster. Large areas of the state have been flooded forcing many to leave their homes and seek shelter.

They need help and soon. As an organization whose first principle is Charity, the Knights of Columbus is once again responding to this call to action.

The California State Council will donate $1,000 to assist the victims in Louisiana. We strongly urge our Brother Knights to do the same either personally or through their council and/or chapter.

You may send your donation through the State Council by writing a check payable to the California Knights of Columbus and indicating “Louisiana Disaster Relief” on the memo section. Please mail your check to the State Office by September 12, 2016. We will then write a single check on behalf of the California Knights of Columbus for the combined donations received by that date.

On the other hand, if you wish to make a tax-deductible donation, please use the following link https://www.kofc.org/en/secure/charities/louisiana-flood-relief.html and make your donation directly to the Knights of Columbus Charities.

On behalf of the victims of the recent flood in Louisiana, thank you so much for your generosity.

Vivat Jesus!
